just in...
We have a wide range of flowers in this week, with specials on roses, spray roses, alstromeria and proteas. The details are to the right.
New in season are Belladonna Lilies (Amaryllis belladonna) or Naked Ladies, a fragrant South African bloom with pink petals and dark brown stems. At $14.50 per bunch they are good value and look great as a hand-tied bunch with some tropical leaves wrapped inside the vase, or in a mixed bouquet with similarly-toned flowers.

ALSO IN STORE
Is that big vase just taking up space in the cupboard? Try filling it with a bunch of clean white Longiflorum lilies ($21), along with some spear grass or Gymea leaves for height.

For cheap and cheerful, try Alstromeria (Peruvian Lily). Tall, bright bunches, 2 for $13, save $7. They look great massed in a vase or as a filler flower.
Our locally-sourced lotus pods will be availalble for a few more weeks, and are on long stems that will suit the tallest vase. They can be dried by cutting them below the head and placing them in a paper bag. The dried heads can be left natural or painted and put on bamboo sticks to be used over again.

valentine's day wrap
Thank you to everyone who came in or who ordered flowers for their Valentine. Naturally red roses were popular, however our Oriental Lily and Rose/Lily bouquets were a big hit. We hope they made your special someone's day.
